New Paid Subscriber!: Shout-out to Bernadette (aka Gail). TBLS podcast also came up during “date night” in Walmart with my wife.

Run Clubs are the New Dating App: After growing frustration with dating apps, Gen Z-ers are now meeting potential lovers and partners…IN PERSON! Tinder and Bumble (dating apps) seem to be part of the past.

Epcot?: Gary shares the details of his trip to Disney’s Epcot this past Presidential weekend.

There's been a proliferation of online gambling apps, and media ads promoting them.

The President’s New Shoes: Did you see Trump huckstering his new gold sneakers? New fragrance?

Gary’s News of the Weird: Buried alive; and the claw.

Flag Football: My 8-year-old is signed up to play this spring. I am volunteering to coach. I don’t want him to be on the Eagles, and he doesn’t want to be on the Chiefs. Ideally, we’re on the Giants. The draft is this Saturday evening!

Beatles Movies: Sam Mendes will be directing four movies, each told from the perspective of the Beatles. Paul, Ringo and the families have approved it, and will feature music from the Beatles.

It’s been a tough few weeks:

RIP Nick Pokoluk: Our classmate from the Bishop O’Hara class of ‘94 died suddenly this week.

RIP Sonny Crotti: The son of Joe Crotti, Bishop O’Hara class of ‘97, passed away this week from brain cancer. My son, Bernard, had attended a football camp at Riverfront last month that was a fundraiser for the 16-year-old’s family.

RIP Jeff Buck: I wrote about the passing of my co-worker this past week. Jeff was about to turn 24 when he died.
