Podcast: Episode 9 - The One About Woodstock '99 with Mary Alice

Brian and Gary discuss Woodstock '99 with friend Mary Alice, who lived to tell about the three-day ordeal

On this episode we speak to Mary Alice. Now a veteran elementary school teacher, in 1999 she was a substitute teacher and working at American Eagle.

With two other friends and a AAA TripTik, she ventured the three hours from Northeastern Pennsylvania to Rome, New York in her Pontiac Bonneville.

On August 3, 2022, Netflix premiered the documentary titled Trainwreck: Woodstock '99. As people began commenting on the havoc that ensued, Mary Alice mentioned she was in attendance — to everyone’s shock!

A Facebook firestorm of comments on Mary Alice’s page erupted and now she is here to tell listeners what she experienced, and her perspective on the infamous weekend she told her dad was a “camping trip.”
