Tonight, Dr. Simons tells us about how his interest in fishing started with trips to local streams and rivers with his father, brother and cousin.

He talks about what’s unique to Pennsylvania’s streams, creeks and rivers, and what he does to help protect and preserve the state’s natural water ways.

Dr. Simons describes where trout are found, explains what a Class A stream is, and details a number of local fishing areas.

On his YouTube page, he has documented fishing not only in Pennsylvania, but also Colorado and New York. He also discusses fishing trips to Vermont and Japan, and an upcoming trip to New Mexico and Utah.

Dr. Simons also discusses some upcoming fly-fishing camps, including those specifically for children and women, for those who are interested in exploring.
