Cold Open Question: When they make the movie about your life, what song needs to be on the soundtrack?

Tonight we are thrilled to be joined by North Alabama recording artist, Izzy Miller, whose latest album, “Izzy Miller Sings ‘Extra Bacon’ and Other Chart Topping Hits”, will be streaming everywhere on starting Friday, Feb. 17th.

Questions for Izzy:

You were just in Orlando, Fla. over the weekend for a vintage guitar expo. Tell us about that?

Can you explain for listeners who Nipper is?

So, tell us about the new album coming out? It’s country. You’ve said this is the album you’ve always wanted to make?

Tell us about the inspiration behind the album and why this particular album means so much to you?

Where was the album recorded? The co-producer was Robert Fox, from Silver Fox Sounds, Harvest, AL. Tell us a little about the recording process and working with Robert.

Tell us a little about the backing band and the other artists helping you out?

Is it all cover songs? Did you write any of the material?

Talk a little about the songwriting process? I’m fascinated with the creative process (Rick Rubin’s new book).

Musical influences?

Izzy talks about the current state of country music, including the influence 9/11 had on the music moving forward into the new century.

Do you have plans to tour this Spring or Summer in support of the new album?
