Brian and Gary discuss the idea of Dry January, Brian noting a friend fell victim on Monday to spoiling her effort. Gary talks about Sober October, but feels there’s no real need for such things in his life. Brian rationales that “sober” doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t drink.
“Super” Wild-Card Weekend was a hit with football fans this past weekend. Brian and Gary both went 4-2 with their picks. Gary’s Russian cable service faulted on Monday night, possibly leading to Gary missing Tom Brady’s final football game.
Madonna, the 64-year-old “like a virgin” star, announced she will be going out on tour this year. Brian and Gary discuss their favorite iterations of the Material Girl.
It’s only 56 Days until the McDaniels voyage to Ireland. With a change in flight destinations, Gary won’t be “flying into Shannon,” and a Windsor tour is cancelled, which may leave room for Paris?
