Starbucks CEO Works Remotely: Brian Niccol is going to be working remotely, commuting 1,000 miles by private corporate jet, on Starbucks’ dime, on an as-needed basis only. Meanwhile, Starbucks employees in its Seattle HQ are mandated to return to the office three days per week. Niccol has led Taco Bell and Chipotle in the past. Focuses on digital ordering, apps. One of the chief complaints against '“Star Bs” is wait times.

  • Rumor is employees make walk-ins wait to promote ordering ahead on the app. Brian experienced this first-hand a week ago. It took him 15 minutes to get a coffee with 8 employees behind the counter.
